Building lines are the lines traced by humans to occupy, delimit, and make space functional. Roads, fences, grids, structures that simplify what was already organized according to another logic. Nature possesses its own form of balance, made of complex, never arbitrary geometries. Building often becomes a mechanical gesture, the application of a poor and monotonous geometry, dictated more by economic urgencies than by real needs. The issue is not building in itself, but the rhythm and the cause with which space is taken away, the way a rigid order is imposed on an already existing beauty. Every line drawn leaves a mark, and every mark carries with it a choice.
